In many cases, adjustments and repairs can be completed while you wait.
Relines / Refitting is Part of the Process
As your gums change and shrink, your dentures will become loose. All dentures will need to be relined at some point to ensure your overall comfort. In fact, you should plan on having a reline completed every 3 to 5 years. If your dentures are over 10 years old, replacement is recommended.
If you were just fitted with your first set of dentures, don’t be discouraged if they don’t seem to fit properly. It will take time for your mouth to adjust. I am dedicated to your complete comfort and encourage you to call if you’re having any pain or sore spots.
